On Sunday, April 11th, 2021, Jon Rahm became the first Spanish golfer to win the Masters Tournament. The 27-year-old Rahm, who is currently ranked number two in the world, shot a final-round 71 to finish at 13-under par and win the tournament by two strokes.

Rahm’s victory was a long time coming. He had been in contention to win the Masters for the past three years, finishing in the top 10 each time. This year, he finally broke through and won the coveted green jacket.

Rahm’s victory was made even more special by the fact that he was able to share it with his wife, Kelley, who was in attendance at Augusta National. The couple had recently welcomed their first child, a daughter named Azalea, and Rahm dedicated his win to her.

Now that Rahm has won the Masters, he is looking ahead to the next stop on the PGA Tour: the RBC Heritage. The tournament will be held at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, South Carolina from April 15th to April 18th. Rahm is one of the favorites to win the tournament, as he has finished in the top 10 in each of his last three appearances at Harbour Town.

Rahm is looking to continue his winning ways at the RBC Heritage and build on his Masters victory. He is hoping to become the first golfer since Tiger Woods in 2002 to win back-to-back major championships. It will be an exciting tournament to watch as Rahm looks to make history and add another major championship to his already impressive resume.
