It is with great sadness that we report the passing of John Berylson, the owner of Millwall Football Club, at the age of 70. He passed away in a car accident on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021.
John Berylson was a passionate supporter of Millwall Football Club and was instrumental in the club’s success over the past decade. He took over the club in 2007 and quickly set about transforming it into a competitive force in the English Football League. Under his stewardship, Millwall achieved promotion to the Championship in 2010 and reached the FA Cup Final in 2017.
