Hailey Van Lith, a native of Washington, is making her return to Seattle as a member of the Louisville Women’s Basketball Team. Van Lith, a 5-foot-11 guard, was born in Spokane and attended Mount Spokane High School. She was a four-year starter at the school, where she averaged 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game.
Van Lith committed to Louisville in November of 2019 and has since become one of the team’s most important players. She is averaging 11.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game for the Cardinals this season. She is also shooting 40 percent from three-point range and has been a key contributor to the team’s success.
