Fans to Host Pride Night at Seattle T-birds Game

The Seattle Thunderbirds, a major junior hockey team in the Western Hockey League, are set to host their first ever Pride Night at the ShoWare Center on March 15th. This event will be a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, and will feature a variety of activities and entertainment.

The event will begin with a pre-game ceremony featuring a special performance by the Seattle Gay Men’s Chorus. Following the ceremony, the team will take on the Spokane Chiefs in a regular season game. During the game, there will be several special activities to celebrate Pride Night, including a “You Can Play” video featuring members of the LGBTQ+ community, a “Pride Parade” around the arena, and a “Pride Jersey” auction.

The Thunderbirds are proud to be hosting this event and to be showing their support for the LGBTQ+ community. The team has partnered with several local organizations to make this event possible, including the Seattle Pride Parade, Out for Sustainability, and the Seattle Gay Men’s Chorus. The team also plans to donate a portion of the proceeds from the event to these organizations.
