The Pac-12 conference has recently completed its Early Signing Window for the 2021 recruiting class. With the window now closed, it’s time to take a look at who came out on top and who may have missed out on some key recruits.
The biggest winner of the Early Signing Window was undoubtedly Oregon. The Ducks managed to land the top recruit in the Pac-12, five-star defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux. Thibodeaux is the highest-rated recruit to sign with Oregon since 2011, and his commitment is a huge boost for the Ducks’ defense. Oregon also added four-star defensive tackle Keyon Ware-Hudson and four-star safety Avantae Williams.
The other big winner of the Early Signing Window was USC. The Trojans managed to land four five-star recruits, including quarterback Jaxson Dart, wide receiver Gary Bryant Jr., and offensive tackle Jonah Monheim. USC also added four-star running back Brandon Campbell and four-star tight end Michael Trigg.
On the other side of the coin, there were some teams that may have missed out on some key recruits. Washington was one of those teams, as they failed to land any five-star recruits during the Early Signing Window. The Huskies did manage to add four-star defensive tackle Jacob Bandes and four-star safety Asa Turner, but they were unable to land any of the top recruits in the Pac-12.
Arizona State was another team that may have missed out on some key recruits. The Sun Devils managed to land four-star quarterback Ethan Long, but they were unable to land any of the top recruits in the Pac-12.
Overall, it was a successful Early Signing Window for the Pac-12 conference. Oregon and USC were the big winners, while Washington and Arizona State may have missed out on some key recruits. With the Early Signing Window now closed, it will be interesting to see how these teams fare in the 2021 season.
