Lakeside High School is proud to announce that one of its graduates, Corbin Carroll, has been named a National League Finalist for the All-Star Game. Corbin Carroll graduated from Lakeside High School in 2020 and is now a professional baseball player for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Corbin Carroll was a standout player for Lakeside High School during his time there. He was a four-year starter for the varsity baseball team and was named to the All-State team in his senior year. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Golden Glove Award, which is given to the best defensive player in the state.
After graduating from Lakeside High School, Corbin Carroll was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first round of the 2020 MLB Draft. He has since become an integral part of the Diamondbacks’ lineup, and he is currently batting .291 with 11 home runs and 40 RBIs.
