Colts Defeat Titans 23-16 Despite Taylor’s Return; Moss and Richardson Suffer Injuries

The Indianapolis Colts pulled off a 23-16 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, despite the return of quarterback Marcus Taylor. Taylor had been out of action since Week 2 due to a shoulder injury, but was back in the lineup for the Titans. Unfortunately, his return was not enough to get the win, as the Colts were able to hold off the Titans in the second half.

The Colts were led by quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who threw for two touchdowns and ran for another. Brissett was able to take advantage of a Titans defense that was missing some key players due to injury. Wide receivers T.Y. Hilton and Devin Funchess both had big days, combining for 11 catches and over 150 yards receiving.

The Titans were unable to get much going on offense, as Taylor was unable to find any rhythm. He was sacked four times and threw for just one touchdown. The Titans were also hurt by injuries to wide receivers Corey Davis and A.J. Brown, as both suffered injuries in the first half and did not return.

The Colts defense was also able to contain running back Derrick Henry, who was held to just 65 yards rushing. The Colts were able to keep Henry in check all day, which allowed them to focus on Taylor and the passing game.

The Colts now move to 6-3 on the season and remain in first place in the AFC South. The Titans fall to 4-5 and will need to regroup quickly if they want to stay in contention for the playoffs. The Colts will look to continue their winning ways next week against the Miami Dolphins, while the Titans will look to rebound against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
