However, they turned up the intensity in the second half, outscoring the Trail Blazers 64-39 after halftime. Milwaukee’s defense was the key to their success, as they held Portland to just 37.5% shooting from the field and forced 16 turnovers.
The Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished with a game-high 37 points and 15 rebounds. Khris Middleton also had a strong performance, scoring 25 points and dishing out seven assists.
