The Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 114-102 in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal series on Saturday night. Led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown’s combined efforts, the Celtics were able to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.
Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. He was a force on both ends of the floor, making big shots and playing solid defense. He was especially effective in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 points and helping the Celtics pull away for the victory.
Brown was also impressive for the Celtics, finishing with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. He was aggressive on offense and made several key shots down the stretch to help the Celtics secure the win.
The 76ers were led by Joel Embiid, who had a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. He was able to keep the 76ers in the game, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Celtics’ balanced attack.
The Celtics have now taken a commanding 3-0 lead in the series and are one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals. They have been led by Tatum and Brown, who have combined for 58 points, 17 rebounds, and 11 assists in Game 3. If they can continue to play at this level, the Celtics should be able to close out the series in Game 4 and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
