The Seattle Seahawks have been a powerhouse in the NFL for many years, and a big part of that success has been due to the play of linebacker Bobby Wagner. As the team prepares for the 2021 season, there is a possibility that this could be Wagner’s last game as a Seahawk.
In an interview with reporters, Wagner reflected on the possibility of his last game as a Seahawk. He said, “There’s a lot of emotions that come with it. I’ve been here for nine years now, and I’ve seen a lot of great players come and go. I’ve had a lot of great memories here, and I’m just trying to enjoy every moment that I have here.”
Wagner has been one of the best linebackers in the league since he was drafted by the Seahawks in 2012. He has been selected to seven Pro Bowls, four All-Pro teams, and was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2019. He is also the franchise leader in tackles with 1,069.
Despite his success, Wagner is not taking anything for granted. He said, “I’m just trying to take it all in and enjoy every moment that I have here. I’m just trying to make sure that I leave my mark here and make sure that I leave this place better than when I got here.”
It is clear that Wagner has had an incredible career with the Seahawks, and it would be a shame if this is his last game with the team. However, no matter what happens, Wagner will always be remembered as one of the best linebackers to ever play for the Seahawks.
