LOWELL, Mass. (AP) — Allin Blunt’s 21 points helped UMass Lowell defeat Binghamton 84-70 on Saturday.
Blunt shot 6 for 12 and was 8 of 10 from the free throw line for the River Hawks (22-7, 9-5 America East Conference). Ayinde Hikim scored 18 points, shooting 7 for 16, including 2 for 4 from beyond the arc. Everette Hammond was 2 of 5 shooting and 10 of 10 from the free throw line to finish with 14 points.
The Bearcats (12-14, 8-5) were led in scoring by Dan Petcash, who finished with 21 points and two steals. Binghamton also got 14 points from Armon Harried. Jacob Falko also recorded 13 points, six rebounds and six assists.
