Football season is upon us and the University of Washington is gearing up for a great year. Two of the most promising players on the Huskies’ roster are Alphonzo Tuputala and Edefuan Ulofoshio, both of whom are vying for starting roles on the linebacker corps.
Alphonzo Tuputala is a redshirt freshman from Tacoma, Washington. He was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and has been praised for his athleticism and physicality. Edefuan Ulofoshio is a junior from Seattle, Washington. He was a three-star recruit coming out of high school and has been praised for his intelligence and instincts. He has the ability to read plays quickly and make the right decisions in order to put his team in the best position to succeed. He is also a great communicator, which is something that will be essential for the Huskies’ defense this season.
Both Alphonzo and Edefuan have been working hard this offseason to earn starting roles on the University of Washington’s linebacker corps. They have been competing in practice and in scrimmages in order to prove that they are ready to take on the challenge of leading the defense. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top and earns the starting roles when the season begins.
