The University of Alabama Crimson Tide continued their undefeated streak in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) with a 24-21 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday. The Crimson Tide, who are currently ranked No. 1 in the nation, have now won their last seven games in the SEC and remain the only undefeated team in the conference.
The game was a close one, with Alabama taking the lead in the fourth quarter after a touchdown pass from quarterback Mac Jones to wide receiver DeVonta Smith. The Razorbacks had a chance to tie the game late in the fourth quarter but were unable to convert on a fourth down attempt.
Alabama’s defense was strong throughout the game, holding Arkansas to just 21 points. The Crimson Tide also forced two turnovers, including an interception by safety Xavier McKinney that sealed the victory.
The win was especially impressive considering that Arkansas had been playing well recently, having won three of their last four games. The Razorbacks had been on a roll since their win over Mississippi State earlier this month and were looking to upset Alabama.
Alabama’s win over Arkansas is yet another example of their dominance in the SEC this season. The Crimson Tide have now won all seven of their conference games and have outscored their opponents by an average of more than 20 points per game.
The Crimson Tide will now look to continue their undefeated streak in the SEC when they take on LSU next week. With a win, Alabama will clinch the SEC West division title and will remain in contention for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
It’s been an impressive season for Alabama so far and they look poised to remain undefeated in the SEC for the rest of the year. The Crimson Tide have been dominant on both sides of the ball and have shown why they are one of the best teams in college football.
