The Boise State Broncos had a huge victory against the San Jose State Spartans on Saturday night, thanks to Derrick Stanley’s 30-point performance.
The Broncos had a slow start to the game, trailing by 10 points at halftime. However, they were able to rally in the second half, thanks to Stanley’s hot shooting. He scored 17 of his 30 points in the second half, helping the Broncos take the lead and eventually win the game.
Stanley was not the only Bronco to have a great game. Senior guard Justinian Jessup also had a strong performance, scoring 19 points and adding four assists. The Broncos also got great contributions from their bench, with Marcus Dickinson and Abu Kigab combining for 17 points.
The win was a huge one for Boise State, as it moved them to 3-1 in Mountain West Conference play. It was also a big win for Stanley, who has been struggling with his shooting lately. He was able to break out of his slump and put up a career-high 30 points.
The Broncos will now look to carry this momentum into their next game against the Nevada Wolf Pack. If they can get another strong performance from Stanley and the rest of their team, they should be able to keep their winning streak alive.
