The University of Southern California (USC) women’s basketball team is ready to take the court this season, and they have a star player leading the way. JuJu Watkins is a junior guard for the Trojans and she is ready to make an impact on the court.

Watkins is a 5-foot-9 guard from Los Angeles, California. She was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and was ranked as the No. 28 overall player in the nation by ESPN. She was also named the California Gatorade Player of the Year in 2018.

Watkins has been a key contributor for the Trojans since she arrived on campus. She averaged 11.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game as a freshman and was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. As a sophomore, she averaged 13.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game and was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team.

This season, Watkins is expected to take her game to the next level. She has been working hard in the offseason and has added some new moves to her game. She is also expected to be more of a leader on the court, as she will be one of the most experienced players on the team.

Watkins is ready to help lead USC back to the NCAA Tournament this season. The Trojans have not made the tournament since 2016 and are looking to make some noise in the Pac-12 this year. With Watkins leading the way, they have a great chance to do just that.

USC fans should be excited to watch JuJu Watkins this season. She has all the tools to be an elite player in college basketball and is ready to shine for the Trojans.
