The University of Connecticut Huskies had a dominant performance on Wednesday night, defeating the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions 101-63. UConn was led by Alex Karaban, who scored a career-high 26 points.
Karaban, a junior guard, was on fire from the start of the game. He shot 9-13 from the field and 4-6 from beyond the arc. He also added five rebounds and four assists in the victory. Karaban’s performance was a major factor in the Huskies’ victory.
The Huskies were also able to get contributions from other players. Forward Tyler Polley had 17 points and eight rebounds while guard Christian Vital added 15 points and seven rebounds. UConn’s depth was on full display as they had nine players score in the game.
