Washington State University wide receiver Lincoln Victor has announced his intent to enter the 2021 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound senior is coming off a stellar season in which he led the Cougars in receptions (54), receiving yards (821) and touchdown catches (7).
Victor, who hails from Tacoma, Washington, has been a standout for the Cougars since his freshman year. He earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention honors as a sophomore and was an All-Pac-12 second team selection in 2019. His 2020 season was even more impressive, as he was named to the All-Pac-12 first team and was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation’s top receiver.
Victor’s decision to enter the draft comes as no surprise, as he has been projected as a potential first-round pick by many draft analysts. He has the size and athleticism to be a successful receiver at the next level and his production in college speaks for itself.
Victor’s announcement is just the latest in what has been a busy offseason for the Cougars. They have already lost several key players to the NFL, including quarterback Anthony Gordon, running back Max Borghi and offensive lineman Abe Lucas.
It will be interesting to see where Victor ends up in the draft. He has all the tools to be a successful receiver in the NFL and his production at Washington State speaks for itself. Regardless of where he ends up, Lincoln Victor is sure to make an impact at the next level.
