It’s an exciting time for Arizona State football fans as the Sun Devils prepare to face former pupil Bo Nix in the upcoming Oregon vs. ASU matchup. Nix, who is now the starting quarterback for the Ducks, graduated from Arizona State in 2020 and is set to face his alma mater on October 17th.
The matchup between the two Pac-12 rivals will be the first time that Nix has returned to Arizona State since his graduation. It will also be the first time that he will face off against his former team.
Nix was a four-year starter for the Sun Devils, leading them to a bowl game in each of his four seasons. He was also a two-time All-Pac-12 selection and was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2019. He holds numerous school records, including most passing yards in a single season and most passing touchdowns in a career.
Nix’s return to Arizona State will be a special moment for both him and the Sun Devils. It will be a chance for him to show his former team what he can do on the field and for the Sun Devils to show their appreciation for all that Nix has done for the program.
The Oregon vs. ASU matchup is sure to be an exciting one, as both teams are looking to make a statement in the Pac-12. It will be especially interesting to see how Nix fares against his former team. Will he be able to lead the Ducks to victory or will the Sun Devils prevail? We’ll find out on October 17th!
