The World Series is always an exciting time for baseball fans, and Game 3 of the 2020 World Series was no exception. In the bottom of the 8th inning, Christian Walker of the Arizona Diamondbacks stepped up to the plate with a chance to tie the game. Walker hit a deep fly ball that looked like it would be a home run, but Adolis García of the Los Angeles Dodgers had other plans.

García sprinted to the wall in foul territory and made an incredible leaping catch to rob Walker of a home run. The catch was so impressive that it was featured on ESPN’s Top 10 Plays of the Day. García’s catch kept the Dodgers ahead, and they went on to win the game and take a 2-1 lead in the series.

Walker was disappointed after the game, but he was still proud of his effort. “I knew I hit it well, and I thought it was gone,” said Walker. “But Adolis made an unbelievable play. He’s an incredible athlete and he made a great catch.”

García was humble after the game, saying that he was just doing his job. “I just wanted to make a play for my team,” said García. “I’m glad I was able to help us get the win.”

The play by García was a huge momentum shift in the game, and it showed why he is one of the best defensive outfielders in the game. His catch will be remembered for years to come, and it will be remembered as one of the best plays of the 2020 World Series.
