Kraken Seattle

The Kraken suffered a 4-1 loss to the Oilers on Tuesday night, in a game that was close throughout. The Oilers were able to take advantage of their home ice advantage and put on a strong performance to take the win.

The Kraken started out strong, with a goal from forward Ryan Getzlaf in the first period. Getzlaf was able to beat Oilers goaltender Mike Smith with a wrist shot from the slot. However, the Oilers responded quickly, with two goals in the second period from forwards Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

The third period saw the Oilers extend their lead to 3-1, with a goal from forward Connor McDavid. The Kraken were unable to respond, and the Oilers sealed the win with an empty-net goal late in the period.

Kraken goaltender Joonas Korpisalo had a strong performance, making 32 saves on 36 shots. However, the Kraken were unable to capitalize on their chances, going 0-for-4 on the power play.

The loss was a disappointing one for the Kraken, who had been on a three-game winning streak prior to Tuesday’s game. The team will look to bounce back when they face the Flames on Thursday night.
