J.K. Dobbins Suffers Torn Achilles Tendon, Ruled Out for the Season

NFL, Sports Seattle

It’s a heartbreaking day for the Baltimore Ravens and J.K. Dobbins. The running back has suffered a torn Achilles tendon and has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

The injury occurred during the Ravens’ Week 12 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dobbins was carted off the field after suffering a non-contact injury. After undergoing an MRI, it was determined that he had suffered a torn Achilles tendon.

This is a devastating blow for the Ravens, who have relied heavily on Dobbins this season. The rookie running back had been a key contributor to the team’s offense, rushing for 623 yards and two touchdowns on 132 carries. He also had 22 receptions for 149 yards and two touchdowns.

The Ravens will now have to turn to other options in the backfield, including Gus Edwards and Justice Hill. They also have veteran Mark Ingram, who is currently on injured reserve.

Dobbins’ injury is a huge loss for the Ravens, who are currently in first place in the AFC North with a 7-5 record. They will have to find a way to make up for his production if they want to make a deep run in the playoffs.

Our thoughts and prayers are with J.K. Dobbins as he begins his recovery from this injury. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the field next season.
