It’s a great day for college basketball fans as three of the best players in the country have been named to the Associated Press Preseason All-American team. Caleb Williams from USC, Harrison Jr. from Ohio State and Corum from Michigan have all been honored with this prestigious award.
Caleb Williams is a 6’7″ forward who is widely considered one of the top players in the nation. He averaged 17.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game last season and was named to the All-Pac-12 first team. Williams is a dynamic player who can score from anywhere on the court and is an excellent rebounder. He is expected to be a major contributor for USC this season.
Harrison Jr. is a 6’5″ guard from Ohio State who was named Big Ten Player of the Year last season. He averaged 17.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game last season and is one of the most versatile players in the country. Harrison Jr. can score, rebound, pass and defend at a high level and will be a key part of Ohio State’s success this season.
Finally, Corum from Michigan is a 6’8″ forward who was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year last season. He averaged 14.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game last season and is expected to be one of the best players in the Big Ten this season. Corum is a great shooter from outside and has the ability to take over games with his scoring ability.
These three players are some of the best in the country and it’s no surprise that they were named to the AP Preseason All-American team. They all have the potential to lead their teams to success this season and it will be exciting to watch them compete against each other throughout the year.
