The University of Washington Huskies have added another talented recruit to their roster for the 2024 season. Dermaricus Davis, a three-star quarterback from Florida, has committed to the Huskies and is set to join the team in the fall.
Davis is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound dual-threat quarterback who has been highly sought after by many college programs. He was ranked as the No. 20 dual-threat quarterback in the nation and the No. 5 overall recruit from Florida by 247Sports. He also had offers from schools such as Florida State, LSU, and Michigan.
Davis is an extremely talented player who has the potential to be a great addition to the Huskies. He has a strong arm and can make all the throws necessary to be a successful quarterback. He also has excellent mobility and can make plays with his feet if needed. He is a great decision maker and has the ability to read defenses quickly and accurately.
The Huskies are thrilled to have Davis join their team and are confident that he will be a great asset for them in the future. He will have the opportunity to learn from and compete with current starting quarterback Dylan Morris, who is entering his junior year. With Davis’ talent and Morris’ experience, the Huskies could have one of the best quarterback duos in the Pac-12 for the 2024 season.
The addition of Davis is a huge win for the Huskies and they are excited to see what he can bring to their program. He has all the tools necessary to be a successful quarterback at the college level and will be a great asset for the Huskies in the years to come.
