On August 5th, 2020, the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced that Lesle Gallimore had been appointed as the new General Manager of OL Reign Soccer Team. Gallimore is an experienced soccer coach and administrator, having served as the head coach of the University of Washington women’s soccer team for the past 25 years.
Gallimore is no stranger to the NWSL, having been involved with the league since its inception in 2013. She was a founding member of the NWSL’s Board of Governors and has served as a member of the Executive Committee since 2015. She was also a part of the NWSL’s Expansion Committee, which was responsible for helping to bring the league to its current size of nine teams.
