Murray was unstoppable from the start, scoring 16 points in the first quarter alone. He continued his hot shooting throughout the game, finishing with 40 points on 15-of-25 shooting from the field and 5-of-10 shooting from beyond the arc. He also added four rebounds, four assists and two steals in the win.
The Nuggets have been led by Murray all season long, and he has been especially impressive in the playoffs. He is averaging 28.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in the series, and he has been a major factor in Denver’s success.
