LIVERPOOL, England (AP) — Frank Lampard looks to have taken charge of his last match as Everton manager.
British media reported Monday that Lampard has been fired, with the club in the relegation zone of the Premier League.
Everton hasn’t confirmed Lampard’s departure. The club says an update will be provided shortly on Lampard’s position.
Lampard, the Chelsea great and former England international, has been in charge of Everton for nearly a year.
Everton’s 2-0 loss at West Ham on Saturday has left the team in next-to-last place in the league after 20 of 38 games and with the same number of points as last-place Southampton.
