The 2020 World Series is set to be an exciting one, with Miller and Márquez joining the ranks as the first-time umpires. This year, five more umpires have been added to the roster, making it the first time in history that seven umpires will be officiating the Fall Classic.

Lance Barksdale has been an umpire in the MLB since 1999 and has officiated in two World Series. He was also the crew chief for the 2018 National League Championship Series. Dan Bellino has been an umpire since 2006 and has worked in five Division Series, two League Championship Series, and one World Series. Phil Cuzzi has been an umpire since 2000 and has officiated in three Division Series, two League Championship Series, and one World Series. Mark Wegner has been an umpire since 1998 and has worked in four Division Series, two League Championship Series, and one World Series. Finally, Chris Segal has been an umpire since 2008 and has officiated in two Division Series, one League Championship Series, and one World Series.
These five umpires bring a wealth of experience to the Fall Classic and will help ensure that the games are officiated fairly and accurately. With Miller and Márquez leading the way, the 2020 World Series is sure to be an exciting one!
