The Grizzlies were able to pull away in the second half thanks to their strong defense. Montana held Idaho State to just 37% shooting from the field and forced 16 turnovers. The Grizzlies were able to capitalize on those turnovers, scoring 19 points off of them.
The win was a big one for Montana, as it puts them in a tie for first place in the Big Sky Conference standings. The Grizzlies will look to continue their winning ways as they take on Eastern Washington on Thursday night.
