The NWSL Expansion Draft took place on Tuesday, November 12th, and the results are in. The OL Reign, a professional women’s soccer team based in Tacoma, Washington, lost two of their players to the new expansion teams.
The first player selected was defender Steph Cox, who was taken by the Racing Louisville FC. Cox has been with the OL Reign since 2018 and has been a key part of the team’s defense. She is a veteran of the NWSL and has also played for the United States Women’s National Team.
