He was able to make key shots down the stretch, including a clutch three-pointer late in the fourth quarter that put the Vikings ahead for good. Johnson also had a key block in the final seconds that sealed the victory for Portland State.
The Vikings were able to take control of the game early on, jumping out to a 10-point lead at halftime. However, the Lancers were able to fight back and take a one-point lead late in the second half. That’s when Johnson stepped up and made his big shot to put the Vikings ahead for good.
