The Ohio State Buckeyes extended their winning streak to six games on Saturday with a 23-3 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers. The Buckeyes’ defense was impressive, limiting the Hoosiers to just three points and forcing four turnovers.
Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields had a strong performance, throwing for 188 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown to help the Buckeyes pull away in the second half. Running back J.K. Dobbins had another solid game, rushing for 141 yards and a touchdown.
The Buckeyes’ defense was the real star of the game, however. They held the Hoosiers to just three points and forced four turnovers. Linebacker Malik Harrison led the way with 11 tackles and two sacks. Safety Jordan Fuller also had a strong performance, recording seven tackles and an interception.
The win was Ohio State’s sixth in a row and improved their record to 9-1 overall. With the win, they remain in contention for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
The Buckeyes will now look ahead to their next game against Michigan State. They will look to extend their winning streak to seven games and keep their playoff hopes alive. It should be an exciting matchup between two of the Big Ten’s top teams.
