It’s no secret that O’Dea High School in Seattle, Washington has been a powerhouse in the state’s high school sports scene for quite some time. Now, with three of the state’s top prospects in their lineup, the school is poised to reclaim the state title they won in 2018.
The three prospects are: 6’5″ forward, Jaden McDaniels; 6’6″ guard, Isaiah Stewart; and 6’7″ forward, RaeQuan Battle. All three are ranked among the top 25 players in the nation, and they have already committed to playing college basketball at Washington, Duke, and Michigan State respectively.
McDaniels is a versatile forward who can score from anywhere on the court. He is a great rebounder and can also handle the ball well. Stewart is an explosive guard who can shoot from deep and also excels at getting to the rim. Battle is a physical forward who can score inside and out and is a great defender.
These three players have the potential to take O’Dea High School back to the top of the state. They have the talent and experience to make a deep run in the playoffs and possibly even win a state title. With their combination of size, athleticism, and skill, they could be the difference makers for O’Dea.
The team has also added some key pieces to their roster this year. They have added some experienced players who can provide leadership and help the younger players develop. They also have some talented freshmen who can contribute right away.
O’Dea High School is in a great position to make a run at the state title this year. With three of Washington’s top prospects leading the way, they have all the pieces in place to make a deep run in the playoffs and possibly even win a state title.
