On October 15th, 2020, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) identified the victims of a double homicide in Oklahoma as Jimmie Johnson’s in-laws. The victims were identified as 66-year-old James and 63-year-old Carol Johnson, who were found dead in their home in rural Oklahoma.

The Johnson’s were the parents of Jimmie Johnson’s wife, Amy Johnson. Jimmie Johnson is a well-known NASCAR driver who has won seven championships and is considered one of the greatest drivers in the sport’s history.

The OSBI has not released any information about a possible suspect or motive for the crime. However, they have stated that they are actively investigating the case and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.

The Johnson family released a statement expressing their shock and sadness at the news of the tragedy. They said that they are grateful for the outpouring of support they have received from friends, family, and fans.

This double homicide is a tragic reminder of the dangers that exist in our society. It is important to remember that violence can happen anywhere and that we must remain vigilant in protecting ourselves and our loved ones.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Johnson family during this difficult time. We hope that the OSBI is able to quickly identify a suspect and bring them to justice.
