According to Homeland Security, the CIA and FBI, among others, the grid is very vulnerable to attack or accident. As James Woolsey, the former director of the CIA said, it’s a matter of when, not if, some attack occurs that will result in our returning to the Dark Ages for an extended period of time, perhaps years. A major concern when you think of the ramifications of having no electricity. No gas, no clean water, no easy transport of food, etc.
As far as I’ve been able to determine, no one at the Federal level in either the US or Canada is doing anything to secure the grid. Why not? ]]>
